What about my pets?
We love them, and we’ll treat them like our own. Although some of our cleaners may have allergies to some pets and also may have fears of certain pets. If this is the case, we may ask that you accommodate the cleaner, if possible, by putting your pet away. Your special instructions are noted on our work order so the cleaning technician will know your wishes concerning your pets.
Who does Northeast Ohio Professional Cleaning Services hire to clean my home?
We hire only the best! Our cleaning technicians are skilled, trained, careful, dependable, and honest. We pay close attention to our team, and if someone doesn’t love their work or take pride in their performance, they don’t stay long. On average, our employees stay with us for three to six years, and some have even celebrated a decade on the team! We’re proud of the culture we’ve created, and our employees are proud to be part of it. This commitment sets us apart from other cleaning companies and ensures our clients benefit from our exceptionally low turnover.
Do I need to tip my cleaning technician?
While tips aren’t expected, they’re always appreciated for a job well done. Many clients choose to tip after each cleaning or give a larger tip at the end of the year. Please ensure any cash left as a tip is clearly marked, or you can add a tip to your credit card payment. Rest assured, 100% of tips go directly to the cleaning technicians who perform the work.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
We observe the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
If a routine cleaning falls on one of these holidays, we will contact you in advance to reschedule your cleaning. We work on many federal holidays. Unless you cancel service, you can expect us to arrive as scheduled, if your cleaning date falls on any holiday except those stated above.
Will the initial cleaning take longer?
Yes, to bring your space up to our standards, the first cleaning usually takes longer than future visits. This allows us to give your home the deep clean it deserves and get to know its unique needs.
Do I need to be home while my house is being cleaned?
No, but it’s entirely up to you. Most of our customers aren’t home, but the majority either purchase a lockbox or trust us with a key and alarm code. For added security, all keys are individually coded and securely stored in our office. (Click here for the recommended lockbox).
Will you send the same cleaning technician each time?
We do our best to send the same cleaning technicians each time, as it’s the most efficient, but we can’t guarantee it. We balance the needs of our staff and clients, which are always changing. If a different technician is assigned, they’ll have detailed notes about your preferences and requests to keep our service consistent.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
Payment is due at the time of service, and your credit card on file will be charged once your cleaning is finished.
